Who are we?
We at ELLA offer tailor-made courses for adults who wish to improve their English language skills.
Whether you want to improve your English for holidays or for business we can help you reach your goal.
Our course leaders are highly-trained and experienced English language teachers.
Where are we?
The Language Academy is in Tonbridge in England. Tonbridge is about 45 minutes by car from Gatwick airport and only about 30 minutes by train from London.
Accommodation
The 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom self-catering apartment is in the heart of Tonbridge near local shops and supermarkets. There are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, and one twin bedroom. The apartment has two parking spaces and an outdoor seating area, and is only a 3-minute walk to the train station. See below for pictures of the apartment and of Tonbridge.
What can Tonbridge offer?
Tonbridge is a pretty market-town in Kent. It can boast many facilities: castle; river; large park; boating; paddle boarding; crazy golf; skate park; theatres; a good choice of restaurants, pubs and bars; model railway; indoor and outdoor pool.
The Course
It will be only you and the friends or colleagues that you came with who will be on the course and staying in the apartment. Before the course starts we will assess your English Language level and talk to you about what you would like to achieve.

Each week-long course is for 7 nights. A typical week's programme is:
Day 1 - Saturday - After 15:00 arrive and meet course leaders
Day 2 - Sunday - Free day
Day 3 - Monday - lessons 10.00 - 12.30, and 14.30 - 17.00
Day 4 - Tuesday - lessons 10.00 - 12.30, and 14.30 - 17.00
Day 5 - Weds - lesson includes visit to London
Day 6 - Thursday - lessons 10.00 - 12.30, and 14.30 - 17.00
Day 7 - Friday - lessons 10.00 - 12.30, and 14.30 - 17.00
Day 8 - Saturday - leave by 11.00
Course Prices
You can book for 3, 4, 5 or 6 people. No one else will be in the apartment with you.
Prices include transfers to and from Gatwick airport, day out in London (including lunch), and all course materials.
You will need to book your own flights.
Price for 3 people for 7 nights - £1,200 per person (chf 1440)
Price for 4 people for 7 nights - £1,100 per person (chf 1320)
Price for 5 people for 7 nights - £1,000 per person (chf 1200)
Price for 6 people for 7 nights - £ 900 per person (chf 1080)
